Brinellhärte
Die Härteprüfung des schwedischen Ingenieurs Johan August Brinell kommt bei weichen bis mittelharten Metallen und bei Werkstoffen mit ungleichmäßigem Gefüge zur Anwendung. Dabei wird eine Hartmetallkugel mit einer festgelegten Prüfkraft in die Oberfläche des zu prüfenden Werkstückes gedrückt.
